An approval to send an order to print is confirmation that you have reviewed the proofs/product completely, agree that all content in the proofs are correct, and hereby release Minuteman Press Gresham from liability of any content errors that should be discovered after production begins.
Proofing is an important step. Whether you have submitted your own artwork or we have designed it for you, it is your responsibility to check for any errors prior to printing. Please carefully check spelling, phone numbers, fonts, placement, and all other details.
To limit any possible errors in artwork, your project will not go to production until it has been approved first.
We are not responsible for errors you miss in your proof!
Color & Your Final Product
We use the latest digital presses most with Pantone certification, and well as old school offset and letterpress machines with Pantone inks. This helps ensure the closest matches to your branding and color schemes as they are designed. However, your final prints may not match what you see on screen, the Pantone color spots used and/or your last order made. Variations in color are normal and acceptable within 10% of the value.
Electronic Proofs
You will receive an electronic proof with every order request. This proof will closely represent the image, color, and text placement of your print(s), but it won’t be the exact color. This is due to your monitor’s color settings being slightly different than that of the designers as well as our machinery. The colors of your proofs as they appear on your monitor are only a close representation of the final printed piece(s). We are not responsible for variances in final printed colors.
Physical Proofs
We are able to make physical proofs for many of our products; the cost for most items is $10 (due before we begin proof production). Note: Making a physical proof must be requested when ordering and before approval of the final print run. Physical proofs usually take the same amount of time to run as the full job itself. Physical proofs are generally only recommended for jobs of high importance, color matching/accuracy is crucial, or if you need to test the paper type for any reason. We always look at your artwork beforehand and will alert you if something is low quality or has poor visibility.
If we cannot produce a physical proof for you we will let you know. Some reasons we may decline your physical proof request are (but not limited to): not enough time before your due date, insufficient information/project details to produce a proof, your file isn’t set up for print, etc.
Project Cancellation
Minuteman Press Gresham will be happy to help you cancel your order prior to your approval. Orders may be eligible for cancellation upon request via email. We will inform you of any cancellation charges depending on the stage of the order.
Once the order has already gone to print, we cannot provide a refund. Since each order is unique to the customer, it has no re-sale value (once it has been printed). All sales are final. If we verify that we made an error, we will reprint the order, free of charge.
If a job is canceled prior to it going to print, any labor hours (proofs, graphic design, etc.) and/or administrative fees (credit card fees, etc.) will be subtracted from your refund. Once the order has been placed successfully, refunds will not be issued for Logo or Design services. For orders between $0 – $49.99: there will be a $5 fee. For orders over $50: a cancellation fee of 10% of the total order will be charged. (a minimum of $15 and a maximum of $500*). *No cap on CC payments over $5000.
All charges related to expedited printing (Rush) or shipping are not refundable, including returned orders for any reason. You must return 100% of the product within 15 days (at your own expense) from the time when the delivery was received.
Orders on hold due to file or payment issues will be canceled by if no response is received from the customer within two weeks. Charged orders that have been canceled due to no response will be subject to a cancellation fee, as stated above.
There is a NO REFUND policy for Logo and Graphic Design Service orders that have been placed.
All work and services rendered to customer remains our property until customer has paid for it and discharged all other debts owing to Oregon Print, dba Minuteman Press Gresham. If Customer misuses service(s) in any way, we reserve the right to contact the parties responsible for the misuse and demand the cost of the service(s).
Claims Period
Claims for defects, damages, and/or shortages must be made in writing within a period of five (5) business days after delivery of all or any part of the order. If we do not receive your claim within this period, you will not be eligible for any refund.
